Honesty is best, particularly with yourself. But sometimes the intent or motivation behind the honesty is to hurt another or to relieve one's own guilt and in such cases honesty inflicts more harm than good.

To lie to protect another or yourself from unjustified harm or persecution for me is
Problem though is that most lie for shallow benefits or because they try avoid justified consequences, and that to me is a sign of character weakness. If I can not stand up for who I am, for what I have done, for what I feel or what I think, then I am weak, and weak individuals are easily swayed and not worthy trust even besides the lying. And if I lie for greed, then I am more than likely willing to sell others out if it benefits me.

Is honesty the best policy. Well i am sure we all say yes to the subject and yet i wonder if this really is the best policy. For many reasons we all lie.
Take our profiles, whos age is correct? Hands down as there are a few on here who dont put their real age. I can go on and on but we are not honest to ourselves.
In life who tells the truth 100% - hands down again as there are a lot of bull shi77ers on here too.
Guys tell woman want they want to hear, is that best?
I think if we all were honest would we all be married and living happily NO lets be honest.

In seduction, honesty is not the best policy. A man learns from experience to conceal some of what he is thinking because no matter how much a woman says she wants to know his true feelings, she would rather not. The rest of the time the pretty lies do indeed perish when I am around.
