I guess if its a couple.. and her shoes did cost a bomb.. while his jacket was from a second hand shop.. and she'd insist for him to buy her new shoes if the current ones would end ruined..... he'd have to think very hard?
Could just carry her, but that's also not always possible.
That pic to me is disturbing, but then again.. I wear wellies a lot and would just jump in the puddle

I rarely wear heels and probably more likely to jump into the puddle
I do this everytime a beautiful woman passes in wet weather
