How many times in the past have people written off Man-U because they have had a poor start to the season, only for them to go on and win everything around them?

It was always going to be a tough ask for any manager replacing Fergie, I would be surprised if they win much, if anything this year, but I won't start writing off United's chances till after Xmas, when is when they usually start to come good.

It's the half of him that isn't a fan that's happy they aren't going well?

That's not a valid comparison. Ferguson inherited a team of irrelevant also rans not a title winning team. Moyes is clearly just not good enough for the job. If they are not up to the CL spots by xmas, the owners would be crazy not to sack him in my view. Although obviously as a Liverpool fan I hope they keep him on so we can point and laugh a bit more.laugh
