Anyone ever bought those "All Day Socks"? I reckon they're great (no, it's not a paid endorsement or cash for comment.)
Now I can wear my socks all day! Such a boon. No more taking a spare pair of socks to work to change into after lunch. Right?

Seriously though, they are pretty good. I find they last at least 2-3 months before the holes get too big and I have to throw them away. With your cheap socks, I'm lucky to get 2-3 wears out of em.
I've got rock hard, protruding toe nails. So now you know.barf

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing reminds me of another time doh me and a few mates worked up at mt.hotham at a chalet. Our rooms were down the mountain a bit, and as we young bucks had to be spruced up detective detective detective detective detective we said to eachother that we are gonna stuff our shoes up (in the snow)conversing

Our boss suggested we take off shoes and put plastic bags over our socks and carry shoes as not to stuff'em up professor We all patted him on the back thinking what a top idea idea

WRONG!!

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing when we went out to make our way up to the venue, we all took one step forward dancing and 20meters back rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing doh So farkin funny laugh my boss was the fat biggest, so he went sliding further down the blo*dy mountain lmfao crying

The venue was approx 4mins if we had chains on our shoes rolling on the floor laughing or 1min if had a sled rolling on the floor laughing but took us about 45mins with plastic bags over our socks finally pulling ourselves up by grabbing the bullbars of the 4wd's that were lined up all the way up mountain.

Man, did we look like a pack of nuffies and sweating our ar*es off in the snow, we were all dressed in black&whites and prolly to the kids we would've looked like over grown penquins flapping around everywhere blushing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing doh

Have'nt been to snow since barf cold snowglobe

Heard many tales about how good they are.

I bought a pair of Merino Sole socks for $15 about 10 years ago and only wear them when I go outback, which is about every 2 years. And NO, I do not wear them every day while away.

I have found that I can wear them for 2 days without a problem. All other thick "work" socks I usually change every day. And found over the years that the "work" socks on special at the markets are are lucky to last a day before needing a change. And only lasting a few washes.

But I have found that in a lot of the country places where they do AgFests and shows, you can pick up some decent socks. Wear them all day and not have the "got to have them off NOW."

I am happy to pay for quality products that last more than 2 washes .... excuse the punconfused

We are past the one day undies laugh

I just bought all week underpants, no washing required. Just take them off, hang them up for few ours, shake and they are ready to be worn again for another week. I think they would go well with you all day socks grin

there is actually a business out in Woori Yallock that knit their own socks, everything from NZ Possum fur, merino, angora and all sorts of mixes. Usually at the Montrose market each month, 3rd Sunday of each month

I have been buying my winter socks off them for the last 10 years or so. They dont do the cotton socks anymore coz they last too long and they didnt sell enough of them

actually I am not sure where to buy them but there are undies with silver through them, silver acts as an antibacterial.

So at a guess if you didnt leave skid marks they might last a phew days!

Have heard of silver being used in various items of clothing in this way. People shouldn't buy them as silver is a "heavy metal" pollutant particularly in the nano particle form as in these products
