looking for information about dial up service (4)
popeymartinsville, Indiana USA4 Threads 1 Polls 174 Postshi everyone i have dial up internet so i can't watch videos on the blogs or forums so what i would like to no is if i add a video card to my desktop if that would help or do i need to get high speed internet any help would be appreciated

Beyond slow internet you may not have enough memory... 1 Gig Ram minimum to run anything with active antivirus these days and adding a graphics card will need more memory... with that in mind you may want to turn off graphic acceleration on your browser options and also on the youtube settings button and lowering the resolution of the player it may help take so long to buffer..

bohemianjack made some changes like you suggested and it did help a little bit but when i went to down load a song by joe bonamassa i found myself singing sitten by the dock of the bay wastin time away heehe guess i just need to get highspeed internet, thanks for your help though
