Personally, I'm not here seeking a partner but only to participate in the forums and 'meet' and make friends.
As I've said in another thread, there are great and genuine people here on CS, both males and females. I made friends with quite a few and we've stayed in contact over the years. I'm happy that I ever stumble upon this site.
Of course you will find there are a lot of scammers, game players, jerks, perverts and hook-up seekers but wouldn't you agree that they exist in the world outside of online dating?
Don't give up on this site. Plenty of people here have success stories about meeting their partners here, so it can happen. Anything is possible.

Though I have not seem to have met anyone with a mutual interest in about a year I have met Very lovely women here in the past. I even married one and would have probably been happy to be with the others but I guess these things are not always what we think. I can say in all sincerity that even though It did not last I am glad that we met. I have been on this site off and on for quite a long time I suppose...meaning that I only had the Love interest in a monogamous way....not like I had some line up. LOL. not even close and not a desired way to live life. If I happen to be so fortunate to meet that special person again one day I can only say that I hope it lasts more than a few years. Breaking up or being dumped after a serious relation that has lasted even for a few months is hard to take.....years is devastating. But who knows what the future holds.
