Merriweather: Hi Pom Pom...
When you win a comp... you win the choice of a subject.. so go your hardest in the existing comps... and you will have won your Pets thread... or like Robp said....
Start one of your own...

wash2u: You will have to realise that the Au Photo Comp is not about 'professional quality" photos (aka Inters), just what the voters enjoy. Although some of the photos are top notch.

My brother was down last month and I was going through the Photo Comp pics I have from all the AU Comp. He made a few comments regarding lighting, composure, exposure, subject matter Why did I show him.

My dear Pom_Pom, when you enter the AU Photo Comp with a winning photo, it will be your choice.

So give us a pic in next month's AU Photo Comp. I can see who is likely to win (good thing about being the Scorer) and maybe He/She will give you and others us some pic cahnces that the win the Peoples Choice.

Ok, I'll wait until the next comp. hmmm I wonder what the new topic will be...

After me wanting Nuclear Bomb Sites and being threatened with excommunication, I do thing Pom Poms and dog are too specific. Maybe "pets" would be better.

And as a thought, maybe I should drop the Nuclear Bomb Sites for Toxic Waste. A lot of us have them nearby. Got one about 10kms away. Might encourage the Yanks (other than 100% 10cc), the Japanese, Russians, French and Brits to enter. And surely there a few of those around India, Pakistan and Afghanistan these days.
