I'd lean towards mind control if it wasn't for the fact that I can do this already by medicating her without her knowledge.

Agree with Kyacheo....spent some time as a Lecturer in a technical college, many years ago...and I came across an article on "remote hypnosis".
I tried it out on some of my students and to my amazement, some did respond...satisfied with the results, I didn't pursue it.
In year 2000, I did a course in Reiki & found there is some merit to "distance healing". This I practise from time to time..
