Back in the late 60s, dad was in Lodge and participated in an exchange progam with NZ. Ermie came over and taught us a few things about NZ. It had a population about the same size as Sydney yet had its own Army, navy and Air Force.
Has nearly everyone left the country and now they rely on everyone else? Looks like Ruritania these days. Peter Seller's movie where Ruritania was broke and declared war on USA
only to sue for peace the next day to get finacial aid for restitution.
