left school in 2nd year so lost track of me oul shipmates half of them anyways couldnt stand them 30 years ago not mind today

i found when people hit a certain age 20-21 they go there own way, and lose contact for whatever reasons having said that some friends remain friends through out life.

i know i will find it kind of hard because its in a hotel with most people drinking

Every christmas I meet up with 5 or 6 guys I was at school with, we go drinking....when the drink kicks in we start to behave like we were schoolboys again.....it's great fun.

Not quite, but a few times I've noticed women looking at us with a mixture of revulsion and wonderment, at how middle-aged men could be like we are.....

dont get me wrong nothing against my school friends just not my cup of tea being all pally pally with them ,pressure me hole most of them daddy or mammy handed it to them on a silver platter,and not blowing about my body but never been kicked outta bed for eating cream krackers yet

Likewise, I would not be saying it either. But bottom line, he and he alone is responsible for his decision fifi, and if he wants an excuse to drink, he will find it.
