I see some Irish woman has won 30 odd million on the Euromillions and she was on job seekers last week. It's great when someone who really needs it wins it. Enjoy your new found wealth missus. wine

Stop shifting the goal posts. One day you say the o6c's are British and anyone who lives or comes from the o6c aren't Irish. The woman comes from and lives in Strabane, Co. Tyrone, (Tyrone, the last time I looked was part of the o6c's...) By your logic, shouldn't you have said a British woman and not an Irish woman????

Then again you said the British aren't in your part of Ireland.

Make your mind up either the o6c is part of Ireland and the natives who grew up there and live there are Irish or they aren't. Every day it seems you change your position...

If I kept shouting on a forum that you aren't what you think, it would piss you off.

Me neither, I don't sent letters, I use emails. I don't use public telephone boxes either...

One day fifi, I might explain why I am living here in the centre of the UK (for the next few months then I'm gone)..But it doesn't concern any body except a choosen few.

Okay yes, that was a funny slip and quite a deep drop into a hole I am not sure how he can argument himself out of without great effort giggle

What I found though far more worrying is the word 'need' in context of 30 million (pound? or euros? not sure, doesn't matter really). Those sums paid out at times by those kind of things are mind boggling, and I recall having read up the fates of quite a few people who did win huge amounts, and lots of cases where it seems it didn't improve life's happiness on the long run.

he could stop digging the hole any deeper for starters.

There was another couple who recently seperated after winning millions on the euro lottery..

Part of the problem (to me at least) is when people who aren't use to having vast sums of money suddenly aquire millions is they simply can't cope with the shock etc..Maybe the people behind the lottery should offer more advice or even pay in installments..

There have overall studies been conducted into happiness, and the findings seem to clearly indicate that money is not what brings happiness. We need our basics covered, yes, but beyond that 'consuming' isn't doing us any good at all, only brings short term highs, but nothing lasting, so in truth it just leads to an emotional rollercoaster of ups and downs, nothing of stable contentment, and I think stable contentment is the harmony/peace state we really should aim for.

Don't hold your breath. I'm not. Soon he'll forget he said it, then when reminded he'll ignore it and continue with with twisted logic and rant away..between us, I actually find his (an others) arguments funny.
PS, Snowy actually clicked on several of my links last night. His argument is looking more silly everyday too (I don't click your links phoenix etc)...

I agree, once the basics are covered (roof over the head, food in larder etc)..How much money, homes etc do people actually need? You can only live in one at a time and the chances are you'll live in one longer than the others..

Even the Beatles had a hit record about money not beibg able to buy love..

Phoenix: Maybe we need more Jacques Fresco's on this rock speaking out and educating the masses..

Sure do, but as he says himself.. language itself can be a stumbling block all in its own right - understanding another isn't a given just because we communicate using the same words -.-

Then quit while you can. And let him explain his post for himself..

fifitheminx: as i said..hes just someone on the forums..you know who you are..as do i..tis why the fools who presume dont get me going..and neither should they you.

They don't 'get me going' as you or others think, but when they don't expalin the facts, keep things in context etc then I'm going to put them straight. Example, people conside Pearse, Connolly et al. Irish patroits but they very same people call Bobby Sands a terrorist? Doesn't add up, either they are all Irish patroits or terrorists..

fifitheminx: yes he harms his credibility...we all do..its just what happens when you post your brainwaves n ideas and opinions...not everyone will agree or like what you say..your protesting smacks of you wanting everyone to believe/agree/and love who you are and what you stand for..

that will never happen.

no one is perfect..sofar proves this..as do you and i
