sofarsogood74: Well it's very easy to give you examples. You said that me and you should not talk on here as we don't seem to like each other,. I agreed. Since then I have avoided your threads and posts but you on numerous occasions have replied to mine in your pious way or discussed me with other CS members on threads I am posting on.

Anyone with any sense can see you are trying to antagonise me while I have stuck to the agreement ignore you. I dont answer you posts,(unless you are directing a post at me or talking about me) post in your threads or discuss you with CS members.

So you in your pious, sanctimonious, condescending and patronising manner that you use on the threads are obviously looking for agro.

And I dont care what the rules are for becoming a citizan. If you're born in Canada, USA, Britain, where ever, spend your childhood there, are educated there, have a birth cert from there, still live there, have never lived in the Republic or even tried to live in the ROI then you're not Irish!

Now if you'll excuse me I have work to do.

Oh my yes, I am sooooooo sorry, I felt bad that you ended banned, I mentioned that in a post, that was a horrendous crime, totally unforgivable *nods firmly to that and slaps self once more while drinking some cow milk for which she feels bad and hypocritical as the cows and calves are suffering*

But you are excused, of course you are, for having to do work and otherwise wink wave

sofarsogood74: I know more about Irish History than you ever will. We were taught it in our Irish school by Irish teachers, paid by the Irish tax payer.

And Michael Collins or Dev would not have indiscriminately killed innocent people in their bid to have a Republic. If you KNEW anything about Irish history you would know the bomb in 19389 was down to Seamus O' Donovan /Sean Russell and nowt to do with Dev, But I'll forgive ya as you're not Irish!

Open up a thread about Irish history and let's see what you do or don't know. Take off the rose coloured glasses when you mention Collin's, Dev et al...

sofarsogood74: Dev was no provo. He would never have sanctioned the killing of women, children and innocents in general. The IRA if the early 20th century targeted British soldiers, policemen serving the crown, and British government staff.

Planting bombs in pubs, parks, shopping centres, train stations and streets packed with civilian shoppers was not the sort of thing Dev or Michael Collins would have stood for.

As jamie mentioned, what exactly happen during the War of Independence? Are you telling me no bombs went off, no non combatants were killed??? And the bombing campaign in the UK in the early part of the 20c...? I was under the impression that the 'old' IRA planted no warning bombs...

sofarsogood74: You don't know what war is!

Rambo, what war have you experienced first hand? I came through a Dirty War..What about yourself?

When I come back here, I hope to read about your war stories...

I dont mind the odd ban. Takes me away from imbeciles on here. It's good to know you avoided the whole point of my post thou. Why would that be? Maybe you do keep replying to my posts when they are not directed at you and maybe you do keep gossiping to other CS thread users about me in threads I'm involved in.

Wonder why you would do that if it wasn't to antagonise me.grin

tinyfangs: Actually, while I just did some work outside, I pondered over this and shall admit that I have definitely done that during the thread discussion which seems to have ended you banned for a while from posting. That was inappropriate and out of order. Those were my thoughts, but I should not have voiced them. I did however voice them as there was a growing majority condemmning you, and I felt it important to realize that even those who we feel worthy of our condemnation, may have reasons to act in certain ways, and that understanding those reasons is important too as we are all feeling individuals and deserve to have that fact respected.

This growing motility you talk about is the usual crowd who like to disagree with everything I say. It is the same five or six people all the time. I could say the sky is blue and this majority you talk of would all agree it's pink.! It's quite pathetic really as they can't seem to work alone...just in a little clique....A bit like you really.

Regardless though, I was in the wrong discussing you and possible reasons for your behaviour, and for this I need to apologise.laugh

tinyfangs: Elsewise though rest assured I am not lurking about here just waiting for an opportunity to agro you, you do not occupy my mind, same as I did not see your post back then in a thread I had started, as a sign that you were out to agro me. It just happens on occasions that a run-in occurs, and if it does, let's just keep them short as I don't think neither of us enjoys having dealings with the other, which is just as is, I don't feel a need to name call due to it, we can't like everyone, which doesn't mean those we dislike are lacking value for the rest of the world too, they just lack it for us personally.

You dont feel need to name call.? Just put up a chuckle sign when people accuse me of having a drug habit. And considering I dont answer or respond to any post you make not directed at me or about me it is obvious it you you causing our "paths to cross" all the time. So it is obvious you are looking for agro. No matter what BS condescending stuff you post. And after starting the agro I am sure you are the first one to report the thread or posts to the mods....Your type has been on here many times. laugh

You're knowledge of the war of independence is not great is it. It was mainly a guerilla war where British troops, policemen or gov officials were ambushed a then the men would flee.

Not planting bombs in train stations, shopping areas and targeting the general public. But again I'll forgive ya as you're British and wOuldn't have much of a grasp on Irish History.

I know. He is as bad as those Muslim fundamentalists who like in Western countries. They take every thing they claim to be entitled to, they enjoy all the freedoms they get but constantly preach how bad Western society is. They can't see they contradiction that they choose tolive in Western society. doh

sofarsogood74: No that is not what I am trying to say and you know it. But the fact you're trying to spin it around to that shows you're losing the argument. Yes innocent people were killed by mistake...But planting a bomb in a supermarket, train station, busy shopping street or pub is NOT killing innocent people by mistake.
And informers chose a side by informing so made themselves targets and thus were not innocent.
All this war is war crap makes me laugh. You sitting in the Republic watching the devastation on TV saying war is war. If it was your family killed by the scumbags, your pregnant sister, brother, mother, father, son daughter...I wonder if you would feel the same. You're just like people sitting in the US on their big sofas looking at Iraq and Afghanistan on TV saying war is war. You don't know what war is!
l don't think im losing the argument im just stating the facts that dev Collins were also ruthless innocent civilian s killed.l can even meet you in person introduce you to an 85yr old man and another in his late 50 s have a nice cup of coffee beer for an interesting chat. The 85 year old uncles were at war they seen it as for the other the similarities where there .l got top grade in honour s history for my leaving cert but its better to hear it from the horses mouth.

I had a lovely few days in Killarney and the ring of Kerry was spectacular bathed in the red, gold and yellows of autumn....the peace and quiet was brilliant too (no coach loads of tourists around), Sneem was deserted and the weather was wonderful grin
Feel happy, chilled and contented after the break!
