In my country there is also people who wants to keep religion into the privacy of the homes.
I think that the state should be neutral on religion. It's the law. It means not to impose religion, nor erradicate it either.

I agree governmants should stay neutral on religion, but just as evil is the politically correct saying our christian societies should not observe Christmas, Easter etc. These are a fundamental part of our culture and should not be influenced by those masters of control the politically correct, these decisions should be left to individuals and families. I agree. One does by religion or philosophy what others only do by force of law. And an atheist, or indeed, any society can never breed a generation of philosophers. Therefore, in an Atheist society the social peace exists solely because of the law.
Take one hundred cosmopolitan atheists, remove the law and create a shortage of resouces and I'd give it a week before they'd turn to cannibalism. A hundred Christians could probably stand a month before they ate each other.
