I am super cautious - no one gets my home phone number right away, meet in public place, DON't go anywhere in his car to begin with BUT having said all that there are a lot of very pushy guys who if you were not so street savvy, try to intimidate you and make you feel like you are being a totally paranoid prude cos you don't give him a spare key to your place on the first meeting?
At the end of the day you are responsible for your own well being?
