serene56: How often do you do it

yes, I have a look if they have viewed me or if they post something interesting sometimes. I was having trouble finding some articles in forums but found that if there was the authors details, I could then locate the thread I was interested in. Silly me then found the way to look at other threads that were no longer showing on my home page.

Know the problem. Someone who is "interesting' And then georaphically unlikely. Europe has many people within 1 hour. Aust has most people within 1 day.

And like you said, something is "said," or music uploaded, and then off on a tangent.doh

there are a few old fiat tractors around, think quite a few old model Fiat were manufactured outside Italy.
In 1966 Fiat signed an agreement with the USSR to construct plants in Southern Italy, Poland, Russia and Brazil

Think the tractors were ok but the English built Case, Japanese, Korean and German tractors gained increased sales also there are usually quite a few John Deer sold to, the latter is a bit like buying a Volver.

There are of course a number of Italian built tractors sold here, as well as lots of Chinese and Indian tractors.

Tractor prices are coming down, you can purchase a 49 hp Yanmar with front-end loader and slasher for as little as $33,990 incl GST.

Yanmar, Kubota and Deutz Fahr would top shopping list

I did meet a very lovely Kuboto with front-end loader, slasher and a blade that would shave the top off way back in the early 80s. She was a beauty.

But "horses for courses," she was only good for so much.dunno

Romania was making Fiats under license , called them Universal . Neighbour bought one early eighties , very small front wheels for a 4x4 . Used to jump out of gear because they built it with the wrong ratio for the front wheels . Little man came all the way from Romania to change cogs . Kids were telling me that when they were working on one place an old Fiat had oil pored in each morning ,did a full days work every day . John Deere is on top of the food chain as far as my kids are concerned . Built to a standard rather than a cost . Little ones are not build but John Deere though .

Saw a doco on John Deere a while back. You tell them what you want and they will build it for what you need. But has the price.

Met a guy who was looking at buying a D10 to do some work on his stations to put in some dams. He eventually bought 2 of Chinese equivalents at less than 1 only D10. Figured he needed them about 1 year to do the work and then flogged off one of them when it was all done. Came out in front.

I must protest that this 'perving profiles' thread has turned into a tractor appreciation thread tongue
