Been homeless twice so I know from experience what that feels like.

We never know someones circumstances of why they're homeless.

I would fight for the homeless in a heart beat.

this is the most hardest time of the year for homeless people.it's a shame how rich this country is and we have people on the streets and people going hungry.

Anytime of the year is the hardest for the homeless ones.Soup kitchens can't keep up with all the people they feed.

What's really sad is that not all homeless people are counted when they do the census.

yes you are right it is hard any time, but when winter hits it's got to be that much harder with out a warm place to stay.

Even the homeless shelters like churches etc can't keep up and run out of room.

I can only imagine what a cardboard box would be like to sleep in.

there is lots of way you can help. check your local shelters. from cutting bread to cleaning. also you can collect from your neighborhoods material things they dont need. i do it here.

but most important is to show respect to people. it is hard right now, and it does looks like is going to be much harder in the next 2 years.

Homeless shelters and soup kitchens are always looking for donations so maybe donate some food and especially your time.
