I don't seem to be having much success
Is it like this for most of us ?,i really did think that this was a good site and it also is genuinely free.

Don't think it is the case of going wrong, it is just like the outside world on here, not always easy to find someone you are interested in dating that is also interested in dating you.
Also it is easy when you meet someone out in the social scene, you know there and then if you are interested in going on a date.
Don't give up, but don't expect more than you would in the real world. I think sometimes people think online dating is easier, in every way. Not necessarily so.

I think the CS is good because of the on-line community, you can get slightly addicted to the forums and this is something that a lot of the other dating sites lack.
I had a look at your profile I don't think you doing anything wrong per-se. Maybe adding a good picture of yourself where you can see your eyes properly wouldn't hurt. I don't know how women feel about this but when I see a lady's profile and here eyes are hidden or it's a fuzzy out of focus picture I get this feeling there hiding something.
That said, I've been on this site and not had a date out of it.
Still post stuff on the forums though.

Surely us women know what we want, why we are or are not dating!
Therefore OP, I suggest you ask the men for a male perspective and the women for a female perspective, that way you get the real picture.

Dave that is nuts that you haven't had a date yet from here......do you really want one? Do you email women who interest you? You're chatting and normal and nice looking so it shouldn't be a big problem!

its possible yes but the chances are very slim..most women are too afraid to meet a strange man from a dating site..sad but true..the odds are stacked against you right away and the fact that this site has very few eligibile women on it in the first place..get yourself over to the the site of many fishes..far better selection of huairs..more likely to meet someone from that site I think

Spot on! I would have to agree with this. Think you really need to be able to see who you are communicating with. We are at a disadvantage on a site like this as opposed to 'real life' contact in that all we have is a profile and if theres a pic with someone miiiiiles away or no pic at all, were a blind sighted.
