lovemedofr: I feel a bit of a nostalgic for the time is passing by so very fast.. I like to collect old items and save some memories for the next generations .. I would be pleased to know what you are eventually missing from your childhood, your youth, your family, friends, school, college, start at work, cars, special places that have changed much, animals you loved, music, sports, items, even the sweets you used to eat and that don't exist in their original form any more, recipes, restaurants etc...

Please feel free to share some anecdotes, photos, links, music about what you miss from these good old times.

This could have been an interesting thread but from what I see, the majority of the posts are only links to band videos...weird, as there is so much more to Life; in Life than the sounds of bands and songs, of which none of it is tactile in any way. To each their own.
I live in exile from my beloved Europe; as far as I know, everyone that I ever knew is dead, either left along some overgrown jungle trail or thrown into a garbage heap after a firing squad liberated their souls...Virtually no nice memories remain and that is a shame. Can't legally return to either country I was raised in and another may still have an arrest warrant for me. I can't be sure as my old contacts from Scotland Yard and Interpol are long gone so I can't be sure, not for actual crimes but the same as several others around here. At some point in the 70's we all served in various armies and some were deemed illegal, after having to disband rather than surrender. Our only actual crime was being on the loosing side but, hey, we tried whether it was in Biafra, or Katanga to Angola and Rhodesia or in Chile and here during the so called 'dirty war' and in Uruguay, while the Americans and their allies, the Israelis ran the gun and drug smuggling...and so many of could not return Home and so made our way to this country with so many immigrants from all European countries, but it is still not home, not our Fatherlands; les cafards de triste.

The 1970's when you dialed a number on payphones, when the playboy magazine in the press shop windows had nude covering strips for the too eager eyes of teenagers passing by.
When instead of porn, there were the soft erotic films like Emmanuelle (1974) which were 16+ (unfortunately I wasn't of age yet). Cutting things short: here you have the film title track by Pierre Bachelet
