Ouch, poor kitties and doggy. Looks like time will have to be spent on ways to keep them separated. I remember a similar situation with extended family members when I was a kid. In the summer, dogs inside, while the cats were outside. Cats would come in for the night, then the dogs were let outside. In the dead of winter, dogs kept in one room, while the cats were kept in another room.
