Best of luck. You'd want to careful on power tools and meds. You might not be covered under Public and/or Employers liability insurance should anything happen ya, apart from the obvious risks.

pedro27: i can do some carpentry my family all work in constrution, i can DO carpentry mostly 2nd fixing, all my work was passed by a artietech, no PROBLEMS, so stop picking holes as usaul

Picking holes? If you're not a qualified carpenter you shouldn't be doing carpentry! That is fact. If my family were all doctors would that mean I could just open up a GP office in the morning? Carpentry should be done by carpenters. Banging wood together with a few nails doesn't mean you can do carpentry.

If you wish to do rehabilitative work you must get written approval from the Department of Social Protection to retain your Disability Allowance or Blind Pension, not sure full time maunual work could be classed as rehabilitative!

You're not a carpenter. And plenty of shoddy and bad quality work is passed by inspectors. That's why people are having to move out of their homes now. 2nd rate work by people doing jobs they are not qualified for. Stick to plastering!
