Food and eating is important to me. I like to enjoy the everyday meals and I like to cook my own food the most possible. I can use some expensive ingredients just to try but my cooking is "the humble home cooking" mostly Mexican and Italian.
travel the world, yes eat in the finest restaurants, it does not matter wear the finest cloths, it does not matter date the most beautiful people in the world
looks is not important to me, personality yes!
And I have not idea about "home food" in Australia but I have watched some of the Australian Chef contest and they are interesting, so is the way people express themselves, very polite.
Thanks for the flowers!
Few years ago when I came across Epicurean philosophy to happiness it downed on me that basic human needs do not change overtime. We all need to eat, have a family, friends and feel security through some sort of self sufficiency. Take one of those away and there will be emptiness in our lives. You can always deny it through false security or simply convince yourself that you are happy in the way your life is through the choices we make.
As for food- Australians do not have national dishes like some countries do, we have more of traditional way of preparing food and that is basically a BBQ. You can put anything on a BBQ and with only a small steal plate needed, it can be taken anywhere. I like my food spicy, so Thai, Mexican and Indian are my first choices.
As for looks I don’t know if I agree with you- I think looks are very important, although what one finds physically attractive in another can vary to a very large degree. I like intelligent and motivated people too but that is only because I need mental stimulation more so than physical, and that always wasn’t the case in my younger years.
Traveling – I’ve done a little bit of traveling , for me its take it or leave it, its not something I inspire to do anymore off.
So you changed your job for the right reasons but are you happy doing what you do?

Doing?
I am not doing -working- for some weeks, I wanted to take some time off but just this week I was asked to fill a position -from a very close friend- and I am thinking about it.
Happy?
I am mostly happy.
I live a simple life yet I like to think with a good taste, and it has nothing to do with money. Anyway I have not money or material possesions. I have spent all my savings -and the divorce $- for traveling-.
Mexican cuisine is my best favorite one then italian (not many dishes to do as with mexican Cuisine) Mental stimulation, yes the same here. Traveling, I can not live with out it I guess my nomade genes are dominant.

JeanKimberley: the quality of my life improves when I remember duty, responsibilities, commitment, friends, family and.... lastly myself.
I never strived to be happy, or look for happiness - I always seem to find it when I care for others more and am less selfish.
Although this week I am a little bit better in quality, since my car is up and running again and I am healthy after that bit of flu, cough.
We know little or not about what CS people do for other people and their communities so I would assume that most people are not selfish and care about other people like; Family, friends, workmates, colleagues, even strangers,...
It is good that you are feeling better and that your car is working properly for you.
