Am happy enough with the way my life has panned out, onwards and upwards is what I say....no point in going back!
Going back in history would be worse....knowing my luck I would be the famine victim starving, the Jewish person being gassed, the serving wench being abused and dying of small pox ....etc etc......
I will stay here in the present thanks, and look with hope to the future ....hoping it does not come too soon.....I want time to go nice and slowly now!

There are events and things I have done on the spur of the moment which have effected others and caused them hurt which was not intended, these I would like to change.
In History, I would go back to the All Ireland final 1998 and tell Micko to eh, shall we say, pay special attention to Padraig Joyce, Michael Donnelan and Ja Fallon in the second half.

I can relate to that, but same time.. all the hurt which was caused to me always proved to have eventually taught me important lessons, plus messing with the past would ultimately change the path, so while something may was painful, eventually also in the lifes of others it surely will have come to be part of good that happened to them. You change what you did, you could end destroying their chance for something great. We are far too unknowing, not able to understand and look forward.
There are things though I'd like to make sure they never happened, like the horrendous suffering of Junko Furuta. I know I can't understand how everything interlinks in this world, but if someone would give me the choice to travel back in time, I am not sure how I could not go back to save her...

Had almost all from the DR series, 500, 800, 350 - all fantastic - but the 650 is just wow and DOUBLE WOW. I miss her

I loathe motorbikes....when I see them on the road or motorway I give way, but my heart goes cold....my Dad was almost killed off one in 1978 and I was old enough to remember the bits he was in for a long time!
He still has a gammy knee thanks to that accident.
In fairness it was not his fault and I understand it is the other drivers who cause most of the bike accidents, but they are still death traps!
My Dad's first priority was to get a new bike....My Mum said it was us or a bike so he got a Fiat 127
that was the end of his biking days.I used to ride pillion with him and I loved the speed and freedom of it, but now I just hate them!

I had no choice Tiny, I was just a small kid....I remember he took me into "town" to see "Gone with the Wind" and boy did we fly like the wind into town that day
tinyfangs: Yes, biking is amazing reason I'd say why people do take the risk, I started when I was 16 and would not wish to miss the memories of the great rides I had
I have some great memories of that kind of thing myself.

i would go back to 1990 and buy the 5 acre plot i was offered for 15.000 pound ,,,,, the same plot was sold in 2004 for 2.7 million euro and turned into a ghost town Whats the one thing you would change ?
