I think we all have movies that have touched us, spoke to something within us.

For me it's all the old Walt Disneys (yes I am that soppy roll eyes) but elsewise it is this movie for me. I love this movie, I adore the love story and how it works with double meanings. I have watched it many times but will still cry when the she-wolf rises from the underworld, and the epilogue spoken by Rosaleen gives me a shiver. It is about the beast inside, but it is not a bad beast. It is about something untamed that seeks its equal, as Rosaleen's mother hints at some point.

I find it well worth to be watched, but that's me.

Post what movie you have seen which has touched you the most and why?

I've watched a lot of great movies, but one that really sticks out from recent years was Amilo Estevez's movie 'The Way'. Its just a simply superb, profound, touching movie!! With a beautiful soundtrack and a great story; but, its more than that, you, the viewer are taken on the journey too!!

After seeing this you want to drop everything, throw a bag on your back and walk the Camino, in the hope that you might even experience a tenth of what you see in this movie!!! thumbs up

I've watched it more than a few times......

There are violent scenes, but it is interesting to contrast the characters of the good Emperor Marcus Aurelius with his son Commodus, and the effect this can have on the decent law abiding citizens.

The meditations of Marcus Aurelius is a nice little read if you have the inclination.thumbs up

Or maybe, it is just a me thing. laugh
