search2014: Just wondering, While going on a date; have you ever searched online, which questions to ask from your date?
and do you think, it is helpful??
Gosh no, I've never even considered it but then I've known a bit about my dates beforehand, from chatting here or a phone call...the conversation has always flowed pretty easily.
Don't go to a date with scripted conversation - it will be too strained. Just be yourself and allow the conversation to flow and if there is little conversation and spurts of companionable silence that can be good as well.

I went on a date and it felt like the girl had memorized the questions
We were having a good conversation, at the end; she was like: hey wait a min..I have a question for you; wait wait I got another one, then think for few sec,...here another question..
gees woman..give it a rest; do you want to know me in one day
ANYWAY: the questions were not bad but just felt like google.
Men on a date face the unenviable position of being naturally worse at conversation, but of what we say actually counting more. All men fear getting stuck with nothing to say and I'd forgive men for looking up ice-breakers beforehand.
Women are lucky in the sense that looking good will forgive crappy conversation and bad jokes to an extent which looking good won't do for a man, and she's also lucky because conversation on a date is expected to revolve around the womanly topic. You can't go on a date and talk about cars or power tools, but you can talk about astrology or the latest in fashion.

Although, one benefit men do have is that women prefer men to listen and perceive more than to talk and express. Much of the date can be spent with her yacking and him responding with "yea", "mmmhm" and other agreeable noises. The best thing for a man to do when he has nothing to say... is to say nothing. Let silence be your ally! Far better this than spluttering out a rush of mumbled, mood-killing uncertainty.

Most definitely true but first people have to get past all the online and long distance hurdles to remotely have a date. Can't exactly do that sitting 3000 to 12000 miles away now can we. Yes it's important that men listen or at least go through the motions of listening to his date. and once in awhile they actually have to pay attention to her voice and words instead of her breasts and trying to figure out what to say to get into them!! Yet what if the girl yacking asks if the man is paying attention when really he is not? What does he say then?
