Girlygirl196349: I just lost my husband to chirrosis of the liver at age 51 do to alcholosim . I believe it's a disease it was a horrible death nobody should have to see there loved ones throwing up blood or starvation his kidneys shut down he lost hearing in one ear believe me if it was a behavior thing he would have beat it . I walked away from a 25 year marriage because he couldn't stop the drinking . We were each others first love but the disease got the best of him he left two wonderful children behind . Tell me who would chose death if it were a behavior issue were not educating people on what happens to the liver which then attacks all the organs if you look up the sympton of chirrosis my husband suffered them all !!!!! He died 3 months after being diagnosed
Alchoholism is not a disease. A drinker is full aware, before become a certified Alchoholic, where his/her drinking driving them to.
