misbhavn: Have you ever killed a romantic moment/mood intentionally? Why did you do it?
I'm guilty because I was running late to an important appointment.
I did it because I wasn't aware it was a romantic moment
A male friend and I decided to accompany each other to dances, dinners etc as we were both single at the time and it was better than going out alone or not at all.
While we were out, we would dance and interact with other people and it was all going along nicely until the night he drove me home, parked outside my house, took my hand and looked in my eyes...

serene56: No, violence wasn't necessary It became apparent that he had feelings for me, which I did not have for him, so I had to break the spell and end the arrangement.
Shame really.
that is a shame to be in that situation with a "friend". He messed everything up!

Yes, and I was well aware that he was seriously seeking a partner and of course had no problem with that.
I deliberately played a low profile when we were out in a crowd so that women wouldn't get the wrong idea, explained the situation to other men where need be, and so on.
And then he went and spoiled it all by sayin' somethin' stoopid like ...

I hate when that happens! I can relate because I've been there.
