How many other names are commonly improved by addition of a few zzzz's?
EG:
Larry > Lazza
Barry > Bazza
Harry (or Harold) > Hazza
Darren > Dazza
Jarred (or other spellings) > Jazza (have not heard that one but logical)
Terry > Tezza
Girls:
Karen > Kaz
Mary > Mezz
Melanie > Melz
That's about all I can come up with but there must be lots more.
Now this thread I'm sure will bring the Aussie/NZ forums to LIFE again right? Because let's face it, it has been very quiet here the last couple of weeks. People away on holidays? Haven't they heard of smart phones or phablets??

One of the joys of having friends in the armed forces, you never knew what there real names was, as they all had flamin' nicknames...
I mean ozzy/ozzie - well ozzie the ostrich comes to mind from hey hey it's saturday..
cozzie - as in bathing costume (isn't that, an australian slang??)
