Now... see the heads there? There's the mail icon/envelope there so mail. If you click that you're straight to the mail page.
Scammers would do that.
The other thing of course is if someone had their own WVM turned off, it also prevents them from appearing on your list.
There's one or two other ways, but most of it a combination of the above.
