We had a lot of people here say they wish they'd grabbed things their children had made, photo albums, certain jewellery......not necessarily expensive items, just irreplaceable stuff. It's better to unpack later than risk losing them.Stay safe. It's a horrible feeling just waiting, and completely drains you.

Was up at Mt Hotham yesterday and about to head down to Dargo. Went to the Info place to check out the road conditions and the fire alerts.
Nothing down that way, closest being near RobP. Just an "Alert" so should be okay for me to go where I want.

Black Ranges flared up again overnight and there is concerns about the high temp and strong wind forecast.
Just packed essentials in the car and decided to leave them there, this sounds like it will be an ongoing thing until fires are out.
Heard they have bought in extra fire crews to Halls Gap just in case.
Lets hope their not needed.
