There was another Cruise that stopped at half dozen more places in NZ but they wanted $1,000 more , bit too much $$$ extra plus had to fly from Perth to Sydney and back where's this one is fly to Sydney one way and Cruise sails straight home to Perth. Seems to us much less stressful more relaxing hols.thumbs up

curly28: Your Holiday sounds like it was amazing glad you enjoyed yourself. Today my friend and I have been into Flight centre to look at a Cruise to NZ for March 2015 and we found one we like 17 nights stopping off and docking for the day at Wellington then Picton then Dunedin on our way home we dock for the day at Melbourne so hope to catch up with some Melbourne peeps and then docking once more Adelaide hope to see Merri and Micki Will let you know once we have finalized this holiday will be booking within the next few weeks hopefully.

Hoping to catch up with some peeps in NZ too as we sail by

Thanks Curly, That trip will always be one of my cherished memories.

Congrats on booking your next adventure. A cruise sounds very relaxing. It seems you will be docking mostly in the south island with all it's stunning scenery. I think your choice to cruise home sounds much more enjoyable than a flight.

I hope you have the time of your life cheering

In response to: I've just been on a road trip around the North Island of New Zealand over the last week and wanted to thank a fellow CSer for taking time out one day to show me the real face of New Zealand away from the tourist traps. I have a lovely day with great company and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Thanks epirb

Photo opportunity outside the Tui Brewery
Hanging out with a kiwi at Eketahuna. No where to eat but.
Unusual opening and closing times here in NZ.
We even went to a tractor museum This place had to be seen to be believed. This is a beautiful country, and I've only seen half of half of it and

I've enjoyed what I have seen very much.

You look a wee bit cold in your first pic darl,
Hope you had a great holiday,

It was cold that day Nature, the night before I arrived at the place where I stayed it was blowing 100 km per hour winds. wow

Followed a campervan on the highway that was struggling not to get blown off the road laugh

It was a bit of a shock to go from 22 degrees average temp back to 40+ in Brisbane when I got home.

It's good to be enjoying the milder Autumn weather here now thumbs up
