mickyj63: Well there is that . I voted Palmer and Greens in the federal election and made sure I put 1 2 3 to where I wanted the preferences to go !!

Very interesting. Palmer is a very successful mega-business orientated person while so many people think that it is wrong for the Libs to have successful business people in their ranks to lead this country.

The Greens seem to look at stopping industry and development of resources without providing any alternatives...Sounds much like Greenpeace.

"Save the whales"

"Ban coal-fueled/nuclear power plants"

"Use alternate energy"

"No wind farms"

"Ban cows as they fart and give of methane gas"rolling on the floor laughing

When I first came to Australia in 1987 Queensland was trying to get rid of sir Jo. You may remember him and his fellow commie hating thugs. When he died a few years ago Queenslanders gave him a state funeral.
It seems the present lot are a rerun of the same show.

And the result will not be known for days or a week in South Australia . At present its a hung parliament !!
People complaining about parties that get the majority of votes and not getting in power!! Problems many don't remember is if its a safe liberal seat by 20 percent and it goes up another 10 percent that doesn't mean liberal get more seats !!
And how could liberal possibly not have won this election outright confused 12 years of a labour govt should have lead to a liberal landside !
1 Did the liberal PM visiting all the time take its toll
2 Did Marshals gaffs like vote labor and his allegedly dodgy business dealings re a wok in a box franchise and then denying or forgetting he owned 3 or so have an affect

Stuffed if I know confused
