It's not often I get many replies to my non- controversial threads, However I am keeping my positive thoughts and at times putting them in threads. For myself I usually feel good when I read replies in positive threads. I smiled and laughed today watching Seinfeld. I smiled at a cute child in store line. I smiled when my youngest cat finally learned the game of fetch.

You play fetch with your cat? How did you manage to get them to actually move on command? Or did they just fetch their bowl?
What made me smile was watching a young family at the restaurant earlier. The child was not going to eat his food, but rather wanted to wear it.

2 of my cats out of 3 play games similar or same as dogs do. They also understand certain phrases and follow commands when breaking rules. My last 2 cats did not do much of this type of behavior, but I never tried it either. Takes patients and time, but an intelligent cat can understand much. They just decide if they are going to comply. Ask anyone who has cat(s) they treat as family members.

You did very well then. I looked after a friends cat for a few days, and all it did was sleep on the cooker. Got to the stage I had to prod it once, just to see if it was still alive.
I was reminiscing about some of the happier, peace times when I was enlisted in the service today.
I had a friend that was really good with impressions. There were times a group of us would just sit back, review, and joke about the days events. His impersonations were almost always dead on and funny.
I smiled watching BBCA's TopGear program's people race some semi-exotic cars on roads and strips in the Southwest USA in a more recent episode on the tv. it seemed a bit odd watching these British guys drive using left-steering cars for a change.
hopefully they'll soon show the sequel where they raced the same cars after they crossed the border from the USA into Mexico.
I smiled as soon as I woke up my daughter and she smiles so big....I laughed at a joke on the facebook this afternoon... It was rather funny... but it was sick humor and I find that funny in its self... I was reading the story we created on cs on one of the threads from yesterday... It turned out pretty good and it seemed everyone enjoyed doing it.... Poor HotrodLarry...I am still giggling about it... Have a great night....and smile

I have two cats, myself. It's true they are very intelligent but they have minds of their own and will only do what they want at times. They are adorable animals. One of mine is very mischievious. She acts like a dog sometimes. She also plays fetch, it's so cute but she can be naughty sometimes. When I scold her she growls like a dog, lol.
