The day I decide to start painting a garden fence would normally not be a good sign. The unspoken message would be I want to be alone, I need 'me' time, leave me alone. Well, you missed the whole point of the Mark Twain story. The story of painting the fence was not about actually painting a fence, but to demonstrate the entrepreneurial talents on Tom using guile and psychology to not only get somebody else to paint the fence but to enrich himself in the process.
The best person you could get to assist with this project is yours truly (that's me) because I have been blessed with the same skill set as Tom Sawyer. I will get this imaginary fence not only painted, but I'll have a new gate fitted FOC (Free of Charge) and by the end of the day I will go home with a bag full in candy and trinkets
....which I will sell on CraigsList.
