Hope that cyclone stays out at sea, looks like they are getting a drenching up Townswille way, wish we could divert it to the farmers out west? sigh

Take your pic ...

It's windy as hell here near cairns, we have had 230 mills in 4 days already, I don't think this one will be as strong as the last few we've gone through, but I am sick of cleaning up after them.
Any wind over 100klm/her causes trees down everywhere....doh

missed this ,to busy saving Nlife from the depredations of our prime minster . Aus would make a better goat producer than here on account its a little dry and warm . Goats do dry and warm as they have no grease in their hair . Neighbour got 50 dollars a head last year so 27000 x 50 = quite a bit . Nz turned out 40000 last time I sold goats so is real little in the market .

Nah ,not at all . Goat meat poor cousin of all our meats . Goat producers have now been excluded from meat NZsnowed in Goat industry had problems recovering the dollar per head taken from us by way of levy . Govt ,I suspect not keen on goats either as the infest our parks and chew our trees which they love . They cost a lot of money to clear them out . Forestry don't like them to as they eat their pine trees when they are little .

All those wild goats saved many a farmer in Aust during the drought from going under.

And I prefer eating goat to lamb. It has the same flavour without that fatty after-taste.

i think
our problems like unhappy thought, worry, lack concentration and the likes, arise from our own mind and its using own mind we can overcome those sort of problems.

However before we can utilize the power of our mind, we need to tame unwholesome habits created during life.
Pills and other witchcraft like remedies cannot do what we ourselves need to do to obtain more lasting peace and happiness.

Perhaps you might consider learning how to park your mind by using meditation.
The pipe, have you tried packet Drum or Port Royal rollies for a change in-between usual pipe smoking habit!

ah i dunno
The shrinks still burn peoples brain cells off, fill them up with pills and other like harmful activities cause they don't know any better i can only suppose.

Problem is people go to "experts" to resolve unhappiness, anxiety or any of the mired of issues-delusions an un-tamed human intellect suffers from.

Meanwhile the mind is what we have to work with and pills or like depressants, shock so-called treatment can only possibly hinder any meaningful process directed to obtaining more happiness, peace of mind etc
