Gets to the intersection to turn right onto the main highway, braking down a slight hill when CLUNK
Jumps out to see the wheel had fallen off and the old girl was resting on her front drum.
Cars piling up behind, what the hell to do. Luckily a young bloke walking past says he's got a hydraulic jack. 10 mins later, all wheel nuts retrieved and wheel's back on, and away we go.

Mate Carl was driving his WWII Jeep back home after a weekend away. Had an old mate sitting beside him (on the right-hand side). Had a flat on the shortcut back road. Just as they pulled up, a couple of modern 4wds pulled up. Full of young guys around 20.
"Love the old Jeep. You old guys just stand back and we will change the the tyre for you." Carl was a bit insulted about the "old guy" tag (he does look old). Bit like RobP's winning photo of making new friends.
Feeling younger, but i need an assistant!
