Afew months ago , I lost my Mother to lung cancer. She was a light smoker 30 yrs ago. I also know of two ladies ,(my mothers age), with lung cancer.Neither one of these ladies smoked, or were near second hand smoke.I wonder what could be banned to help these ladies.
If smoking, and drinking, were banned tomorrow, what would be next on the ban list.coffee, or maybe chocolate?

Sorry to hear that, my condolences.

I lost my Mom 2 1/2 years ago to stomach cancer.

I don't see banning anything helping, whatever the cause(s), it's everywhere, and we're exposed to it in daily life. Some may be predisposed to it, others lifestyle and choices in what we ingest, also what where we work. Whatever it is, you hear about it a lot more than ever. sigh

they haven't banned alcohol but they are banning smoking yet legalizing marijuana ....
they are banning carbonated soft drinks to smaller sizes and yapping about sugar intake.... yeah salt is on the list too

however they are talking about mental health day ...but instead of helping they send you home with a prescriptions that make you feel like you've been drilled in the head ...( and the bottle does say ..depression or suicide may occur )

they tell you chocolate is bad for you ..no no wait dark chocolate is good for you
they tell you coffee is bad for you ... no no coffee in moderation is ok...

seriously ........... why would anyone listen to this ...

everything and anything is just humans being gunia pigs ...
and politics love to screw and mess with it all ....

seriously barf

My condolences to you. I also lost my mom this past August. We cannot live in a bubble and hide because we are exposed to toxins every second of the day whether by ingesting or the atmosphere.
take care teddybear

While banning won't help anything, as the others have already said, I would ban the internal combustion engine. Toxic emissions are it's primary designed output.
