What's happened to the picture comp crying

I seems to be dying a slow death with only Rob, epirb and myself contributing this month. blues

Such a shame as I really enjoyed the pictures from everyone and it's always a positive thread to enjoy.

Hope this is not the end sigh

Was at my brother's place over the weekend and had intended to grab a photo of his use of an old mincer. As I was running late to get to a party, and then a few other things that slowed me down on Sunday, I did miss out on thinking about it until was about 100kms away. So in words that I hope you can picture....so the setting first

My brother owns a 1970 HT Monaro which he did especially order with a 253 V8. At the time, it was possible to order from a car manufacturer what you wanted on your vehicle (my dad did the same in 1959 with his FC special 2 door wagon with dickie seat). Add to that, any entry for Bathurst had to have a fixed number of entries manufactured during that year.

My brother ended up buying a 253cu V8 4-speed manual with all the Bathurst gear. Okay, they were entering the 350cu V8s but he had one of the models "produced," although with a smaller engine. He recently entered it in a show (yeah, he still has it) and won "Best in Show."banana

Being the type of guy he is, he decided to do a bit more to support the "Monaro Club" he is in and has made a trailer. Not just a "trailer." It does need to go to Club meetings with a bit of heritage. He finally located an old horse buggy and some early Chevy (pre GMH) wooden-spoked wheels and combined them into a trailer behind his Holden.

The "queue de grassy" bit was the old meat mincer that he has used for the tail light on this trailer.

I was hoping to take a pic of this over the weekend but missed out (was a party weekend for some odd reason). If it is okay, this mental picture is my entry.
