robplum: yes but during court proceedings some events remained unexplained, like how a 7.62 rifle moved from laying in paddock into the boot of a car at a time Bryant couldn't possibly have moved it. I'm pretty certain nobody could fire 7.62 from the hip and land each and every single shot right between 15 peoples eyes, only a marksmen could shot like that, Bryant certainly wasn't.

Then there is the Vietnam Vet which a bunch of police crept up on in the middle of the night and blew away. Soon after another Tasmanian Policemen, a Vietnam Veteran, expressed different version of what had actually occurred, different version from the official police version of those events.
I to have spent a lot time in Tasmania
I think that shooting 15 live moving targets between the eyes is not possible ,who is going to keep looking at somebody after the fist shot or two is fired ? Animals scatter mostly in the opposite direction . Many doubts remain over two mass killings both here and there .

ill-will blows strongly throughout Australia

THE Chief Justice of the High Court, Robert French, has taken the extraordinary step of writing to the Abbott government to reiterate the court’s constitutional independence after being advised the Coalition’s cost-cutting drive will extend to the nation’s highest legal forum.

ditto for theee above

The Australian Liberal Students' Federation or ALSF is an Australian students' political group. It is the peak national body for more than 30 campus Liberal Clubs. Although it has a similar ideology to the Liberal Party of Australia and works closely with the party, it is an independent organisation. The federation campaigned strongly for voluntary student unionism. The federation has for decades opposed what it calls the radical left's control of some universities. Notable members include former prime minister John Howard, Tony Abbott, Eric Abetz, Michael Yabsley, Kevin Mathew Dodson-Geary, Michael Kroger, Sophie Mirabella and Robert Clark.

The National Union of Students have called for demonstration on March 26, fresh off the embarrassing violent protest last year that included arrests, burning effigies of Tony Abbott and Christopher Pyne, and throwing shoes at Liberal Party headquarters in Melbourne.

The Australian Liberal Students’ Federation Victorian spokesperson Matthew Lesh said that the upcoming protests, like many before, would inevitably turn violent.

“Extremists have hijacked the student political movement and have shown a clear intention to use violent methods in the past, this year will be no different” Mr Lesh said

Opinion poll

What do you think Schapelle Corby meant by saying "I feel like a crab"?

She wants to hide underneath a rock.

She only can walk sideways.

She fears being put into boiling water.

She hadn't had any crustaceans to eat for a while and fancied a treat.

She has a hard shell but a soft core.

She has been wearing orange for too long

it forgets to say "she has been scratched a lot "

No.. none of it makes sense, the calling out on the streets of Hashish, trying to tempt foreigners to buy it.. that doesn't make sense either..

especially as they look to tourism for a nightly meal sometimes..

it is all a white wash.. sigh

Hello Merriweather, i still say weather she did it or not once your baggage has been inspected and taken from you, you have been cleared to travel. I know thats not how it is but how easy is it for a bag handler to tamper with your port. P.S. last time i flew to Cairns from Brisbane i forgot i had a small pair of scissors in my shaving bag, they were confiscated "rightfully" and thats just a domestic flight!
