I have just turned 69. I am successful, wealthy and healthy. I work 55 hours a week and I do not find that strenuous. A 28 year old young lady who adores me. I have a maid who keeps my house beautifully clean. I am a splendid cook. Why should I, and why would I, want the companionship of a woman more than 45? It is not morally wrong to prefer the company of someone less than 45. Someone older than 45 is not going to give me anything I have not already got. Can someone explain what is wrong if I prefer the company of a lady younger than 45?

There is nothing wrong specifically with your preference for the company of a young lady, it is more that you seem very dismissive of anyone over the age of 45 saying
you are assuming that over 45's could not offer you anything of interest, perhaps more diverse conversations than you have now ?

Unfortunately it seems I am in that gray area where men on this site are a bit too young or the men are old enough to be my father/grandfather (which is the age group I get a majority of my mail from). More or less gave up on the thought of finding an actual partner on this site. I mean, if it happens it happens. If not I am here for good conversation and friends.
