well unless I go into an internet cafe I cannot log on when out and about as (by choice) I do not have internet on my mobile
I use it all day in work and evenings when I am home and bored or want to chat to friends, so the thought of constant up dates when I am out or away is just mental

I always think that it cant be much of a night out if they have time to do that.

When I'm at home in the evenings, I'm always checking facebook (very seldom post anything myself), but it drives me mad when I'm out and see people constantly staring at their phones!!!
In relation to people constantly posting pics when they're out, I once commented on a friends page that it mustn't be such a great night if she was spending so much time online.....it didn't go down too well

My thinking as well, when out I forget the internet exists...and even if I do take a few pics which isn't often its not with the intention oh must post to fb tomorrow...sometimes I just want a photo...

facebook is like this place.....sometimes I have to sit on my hands and go for a walk to stop myself saying what I really want to say!

I really did own one of those once. It had a "flip down" thingy/cover and I thought it was the coolest phone ever!! I left it behind me on some Greek Island and was heartbroken that I couldn't find another one when I got home

I can't stand all the ooooh look at me here, oooh look at me there... ooh look at what I'm doing now photos on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. Yes I am an internet junkie, I'm online all the time and yes I have the internet on my phone, but for me its a way of keeping in contact with my friends. Most of my friends live in different countries, some in different timezones and we use Facebook like an online diary, to keep in contact. Some of my friends I only see once a year, so Facebook has replaced old fashioned snail mail for us.
Sometimes I do post photos when I'm out and about but its generally because I know my friends would be interested in seeing the photos.
