This should be good. Tomato bushes are growing, potatoes are doing well, lemons are yellowing up nicely although the oranges are still green and the roses have finished. And the birds have been grubbing and the path is a mess.

To give everyone time to trim and tidy up for those that need a newer photo, comp ends Wednesday 26 March.

This ones not for voting but, this is my pride and joy. grin A pineapple plant grown from the top of a pineapple. Can't wait to see a little pineapple growing on it. It's been a little dry here, hence the brown leaves but it's still very much alive.

Thank you Rob thumbs up

I will definitely follow your advice and feed my plant as you suggested. I would love to see it flourish and bear fruit. grin

hope you read the part about not using chemical fertilizer, safest probably be seaweed like in maxi crop or very mild fish/seaweed liquid.
I sprayed Maxi Crop on my sub tropical trees at twenty past the full moon just before sap it siphoned up by the pull of the moon, as its then the roots feed the foliage, worked a treat, i sprayed the underside of the foliage as most plants can feed through the underside of leaf.
but dunno about pineapple

I got good results using liquid fertilizer, the photos are old now the first Longan Tree shows how they flushed after application about twenty past full moon displays the growth that appeared about three days before the full moon. The second picture-took i mulched with Lake Weed from the Foster Lakes (salt water didn't bother them and Brown Swiss Cows loved it errr) the yellow Tamarillo loved Maxi Crop and also flushed just before the full-moon

Had to look up what a Logan tree was Rob, as I'd never heard of it. But I see it's from the same family as Lychees, which I know. In fact I ate a few only days ago as they were for sale at a road side stall near here.

Your tree seems to be flourishing with your TLC. thumbs up

The Longan tree is a bit more cold torrent than Lychee. Dried Logan can usually be purchased from the Chinese everything Chinese food type of shop, dried Logan is excellent, has a sort of aniseed flavor. I planted 120 Logan.
Lychee do really well around Kyogle and so probably also Lismore. Grafted tree or also i think un-grafted likely can be purchased from The House Without Steps people.
