sher7rochester, Indiana USA6 Threads 19 PostsIm a lutheran woman gone penticostal...as soon as i went into a penticostal church,i knew right away thats where i belonged,thats how i wanted to praise The Lord/dance around/jump run around/clap do whatever i was born to do to Praise Him..what a wonderful place to be with Godly brothers and sisters,i wear pants at home,but i wear a dress/skirt in church ! there was once a place when i wore that all the time,and it changed my life cause it would make me think twice before something would come outa my mouth,cause people knew i was penticostal,it does change your life,so where are you men,i wana Praise God with you !!!

I have strong ties with the pentecostal faith. I have also been affiliated with several other faiths.
One thing first and foremost, no matter what denomination a person may choose; read your bible and do not put your faith in any man or church. You have the tool needed to make sound choices. If not used properly, it is on you and no one else. It's not the church or it's leaders that faith and belief is supposed to be focused on.
They are there to help you understand. Confront any teachings that may not be accurate or fully explained. If or when you find repeated flaws that do not coincide, it's time to move on to another if they don't retract or worse. Continuing to push any thing wrongfully is not a place to be. I left my local pentecostal faiths. There is a difference between praising, praying, and chanting.
