mjpd67: As a male living alone i take and always have taken great pride doing my
housework, its becoming a hot issue now between males and females, although from my own personal perspective women still come out on top ,do other men on here like doing housework your views please if you care to share

I believe there's a Housewife of the Year competition in Cork soon - all work to be done by the entrant, and work must be displayed in the Cork area.

Here are a list of jobs I need done, and I am in the Cork area, if you're interested. Food and accommodation can be provided.

Floors - washed to a dazzling sparkle
Windows - cleaned so that one can see out of them
Beds - washed and changed, please bring your own conditioner
Nets - don't have any
Mats -to be beaten with a tennis racquet until dust-free
Windowsills & shelves - to be washed in a lemon-scented woodcleaner
Washing - many loads to be done, dried, folded and packed away.
Dishes - concession here - the dishwasher will help, but you must pack

Com'on, MJ, you can do it!

Yeah I clean my own house, no way would I pay someone to do it.

Having said that I hate doing it, I have little patience at the best of times and cleaning the Venetian blinds drives me mad.

See... it all depends on how to view things. For me, windows that you can't see through with dirt = Extra Thermal Insulation as far as I'm concerned.

Not sure now they'd allow JCBs in it.
