I've been divorced for over 20 years(married for 18)and still can't get over losing the love of my life.I'm not really interested in other women. My heart is still with my ex,no matter how I try to get on with my life and meet new women.Just not in to it.What are your experiences?,thoughts?

I don't think you really do get over it, especially if you`ve been married for awhile.
If you do find someone new, there`s always the feeling of comparing the new person to the person you`ve broken up with before. Not a good feeling.
Time is supposed to heal the wounds, perhaps it does soften the blow, but it`s like putting a bandaid on a big incision. It doesn't stick.
Hopefully the new person would be good enough to get along with, find true happiness, then I think the unhappiness will gradually ease the pain.
