I have to say, it is encouraging to see the proposed plans for a host of halting sites and traveller accommodation in South Dublin have been passed.

Dublin council should further extend this policy of cultural integration, by offering the travelling community the use of the lovely green areas in South Dublin, such as Marlay park or Dundrum shopping centre car park, as sites for caravan parking, when their new residents relatives visit in their thousands for a wedding or a celebration of traveller culture.

It will be a true sign of a multi cultural embracing, prejudice free, tolerant Ireland when we see trotting ponies racing through the leafy suburbs of Blackrock and Clonskeagh.thumbs up

You have to be pulling the piss, right?

At last, a positive unprejudiced person, who can value the importance of this brave progressive policy by South Dublin in ending the shame of Irish apartheid. hug
