With respect to all innocent Indian men, Indian males in general have a terrible reputation, or don't you read the news ?
I have only been to India once, although it was for several weeks, and I can say that none of the women in our group ever want to go back there again. They felt threatened, and one lady in fact was assaulted before being rescued. This may not be everyones experience of course.

What I know about the East Indian culture is..that the families are very involved, and are very against their son or daughter marrying outside of their race and religion?

Unfortunately, a lot of the Indian gents who are on CS and other dating sites do their fellow countrymen a disservice.
They do not represent their culture or respect for women in a good light.
Obviously, not all act like this, but unfortunately the ones that do not are in a minority.
I know a few from the Chatroom which was on CS previously, and these men were embarrassed at the attitudes of the others, so much so that they said they would never go to a Meet in India as they would be sickened by the attitude and conversations, especially about 'white' women.

They did a DNA test on him and it was discovered that his ancestry was part - black.
