I think that's a good point. It is a cultural difference that most white western women will expect as normal. We are democratic here about gender. women are a man's equals. And people are equals...a person's position or wealth does not earn one respect...their behavior does. In some cultures that equality would be very hard to adjust to (unfortunately)....so for those men from 3rd world cultures - chew on that a bit before asking to date western women.

I guess its a stereo type that Indian men beat their women or are over protective,we live in the 21st century every race is the same we suppose to judge an individual not the race dont you think so?I am a Indian from South Africa,stayed in Britan for a few years and also dated a British women and we was attracted to one another,my point is if you treat a women would respect vs verse you can be any part of the world it will not make a difference long as you are some how attracted to one another I see no reason why url should not date.

Yes, white girls go for indian, Jamaicans , Chinese etc. Why? Because people are falling in love, regardless of race.
My experience with Indians is that they are very hardworking and ambitious.
We have to be very careful in not labeling Indians because each individual is different. Yes, the Indian family pressures their children to marry in their religion and the culture is quite different from Western Culture but relationship between White girls and Indians can work successfully.

Dan-barry, you are so right. Indians have varied skin color- from very dark to white . Religions varied also. Hindu, Muslem. Etc. India is linked with rising economy like China, Russia, Brazil and South Korea.
