Your pastor has a very selective memory, and very lousy knowledge of history.

People with blind faith consider everything as an attack, when they are faced with logical arguments, and mature debates.

Christians were the ones who were prosecuting, killing, burning and murdering people for their worship that differed from the one that holly mother Church prescribed, or how the individual priests interpreted the bible, and the god. Not to mention, that the Church fought for centuries to prevent people to read the bible in their own language. Transcribing the bible from Latin into English for example, was punishable by death. - - - For a simple reason, people might start thinking about what they read, and interpret the "god's" word on their own, and the priests - in extension, the church would lose power over masses. It is all about the control of the people.

If you are talking about the Roman times. There were many Christian sects, and half of them were actually terrorists, and Romans punished them for their actions, like they punished everyone else.

If you are talking about religious wars in Europe. Different Christian factions fought each other.-

If you are talking about the Crusades, look behind the real reasons for them, and what Christian army did to Jerusalem when they conquered it.

Your argument has huge holes I'd say. I cold go on and on here, with logic, history, psychology, and other disciplines of reason. However, I know you will dismiss my arguments, because you have faith. The way you believe in god, you'd be burned at the stake few hundred years ago by the way. Or you'd probably be the one holding the torch . . . That is how it is, when people have faith, and when people are religious.

Not true. At least one and that is from personal connections. (there is actually many more) That Church founded some time in the mid 1800's and still active world wide does not seek Medical Attention. They can, but most deal with their challenges through what they study. Whether you are of religion or not there is one attribute that stands out. You have a strong essence of being "anti", "not". Science is not infallible, Medical Doctors are not cure-alls'. Doctors have no explanations for why some people get better and some don't. Many Medical Doctors are strong believers in many mainstream religions themselves. Not only Doctors but even Hospitals all over the World are many in that they are hand in hand with different religious beliefs. The more you try to disprove something or generalize others you falter by the mere odds of making more mistakes yourself. You seem to have a conviction that is much like`the Evangelist type that annoyed me so much as a child. It is not good enough that someone might have a different view, no! you must convince them to believe as you do, even if it is not in their being.

Peoples beliefs are engineered by their backgrounds..come from a Mormon society or Jewish or even Agnostic...and there you have your sole argument....put everyone born new in a complete segregated environment...and we will have the belief that all life began in a glass bowl....end of argument

Exactly, belief is the thing of the society one grows up, and geography.
