Every time a parent tells their children they need to grow up and be like them.....they then get on the to the child for being like them. I've never understood that. Why!? I mean after all....we are their examples aren't we!?

Hmmmm......interesting thought!! So they are actually belittling, beating, or belittling themselves through their children...
....now that's a VERY interesting concept....hmmmThat do as I say and not as I do can be a bit confusing when a parent is constantly telling their children to obey them and follow their instructions too.

it is definitely confusing! I had such parents, they would do opposite to what they said and when I use to point it out I'd get a flogging That do as I say and not as I do can be a bit confusing when a parent is constantly telling their children to obey them and follow their instructions too.
But then again my parents were not very bright which also brings me to another point. 
I strongly feel there should be some compulsory parental education these days. I don't think parenting is a natural instinct in the 20th century because our social structure has become much more complicated.More Threads
