I do recall watching IMT sometimes in the mid-70s (rarely shown in Sydeney at the time) and watching him trying to keep it straight with GK and trying to keep a straight face. And then the crap the lanky yankee put him through.

Unfortunately I do remember his name. Don Lane. He had to leave the USA for some/many reasons and the people that were after him figured we would not put up with him and finish him off. Shows how much our TV producers did not understand talent.
